Since 2003, the IIRPS VU Student Scientific Society has been publishing the almanac of the best student essays, in which the best essays in various subjects selected by the lecturers of the university are published. In 2006, for the first time, the essays of not only compulsory, but also elective courses were selected. After a hiatus, the almanac resumed publication in 2021, with the inclusion of Master’s students’ essays. Since 2022 the alamanac also includes English-language essays, and, since 2023, the essays have been accompanied by a commentary by the professors on the excellence of the essay. The publication is produced in collaboration with Corp! RePublica, other student organisations active at IIRPS, the Institute’s administration and VU Publishing House. The aim of the Almanac is to publicise the best quality and most creative written work produced during the academic year, to welcome and get acquainted with the issues raised by students, new ideas, insights and discoveries.
