This group brings together researchers whose academic, pedagogical, and expert interests are related to the reflection and application of the feminist approach to the analysis of the current political events, international relations, social and cultural policy, technology, and media.

This research group was formed in response to the development of emerging and disruptive technologies and their increasing importance for the security and relationship between the state, society, and individuals.

Research group on Belarus

The research group on Belarus has gathered in response to social movements that have begun in the country in 2020. Researchers are trying to reveal the root causes of this unprecedented resistance to the authoritarian regime, while studying its course and consequences.

Research group in political economy

The group’s research mainly focuses on political economy of Lithuania, especially in regional perspective (Baltic as well as Central and Eastern Europe), political economy of European integration (Brexit, eurozone integration and reforms) as well as varieties of capitalism and growth regimes.

Political behaviour, subjectivity and contention

The main focus of our research group is political behaviour, political attitudes and subjectivity with specific interest in communist and post-communist legacies.
