Research group in political economy

The group’s research mainly focuses on three areas:

  • Political economy of Lithuania, especially in regional perspective (Baltic as well as Central and Eastern Europe);
  • Political economy of European integration (Brexit, eurozone integration and reforms);
  • Varieties of capitalism and growth regimes.

The group organizes regular seminars where members and guests present their ongoing research in political economy and receive feedback.

Group members have published in such journals as Journal of Common Market Studies, Oxford Review of Economic Policy, Party Politics, Journal of Intellectual Capital, Post-Soviet Affairs, Journal of European Integration, International Review of Administrative Studies, Public Policy and Administration, Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis, European Journal of Industrial Relations, Policy Studies, Acta Oeconomica, Journal of Baltic Studies, and others.
