Ieva Šakelaitė

Ieva Šakelaitė is a doctoral student working under the supervision of Professor Natalija Arlauskaitė. Her doctoral research concerns activist art and visuality of collective agency. Ieva Šakelaitė holds an MA in Politics and Media (2022) and a BA in Scandinavian studies (2017), both from Vilnius University, and an MA in Literature, Culture and Media (2019) from Lund University.

In 2025, she was a fellow at the IFZO Centre at the University of Greifswald (Germany); in 2026, she completed a traineeship at the Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen (Denmark).

She translates academic and popular literature from English and Swedish.
