Description:

The authors of this monograph suggest a new way to understand the relationship between politics and morale. This book criticizes the rationalist third-person perspective and develops a first-person, personalistic perspective instead. It aims to understand how morale and politics are experienced by a person who is simultaneously a moral subject and a citizen. The research is carried out based on the theories of I. Kant, C. Schmitt, R. Spaemann, P. Kahn, H. Arendt, S. Šalkauskis, and A. Maceina. These and other themes explored in this book will be interesting to all those interested in contemporary politics, ethics, political philosophy, history of Lithuania.
