Vilnius University Faculty of History, together with the IIRPS VU and the Lithuanian Research Council, would like to invite you to a public lecture “Rethinking family and nation across the iron curtain: towards an intimate history of the cold war Europe” by Professor Stefania Bernini of the Ca‘ Foscari University of Venice.

Prof. Stefania Bernini is a Professor of Modern History at the Ca‘ Foscari University of Venice. She carries out her research in the field of social history with a special focus on the history of the transformations of the concept of the family under a social, political and cultural change in Post-War Europe.

The event will take place on the 24th of April, at 5 PM, at the Vilnius University Faculty of History.
