Let’s talk about ChatGPT

Let’s talk about ChatGPT

💻 Since its public release last year, ChatGPT undoubtedly had and continues to have a transformative effect on higher education. It remains contested, however, whether this effect is positive or negative. Some view it as a tool to assist learning; others see potential threats to academic integrity as it opens up new ways to cheating and plagiarism.
💻 Students are invited to meet and talk about artificial intelligence at university. How does ChatGPT work? What kind of benefits, challenges and implications does it bring? How the use of “ChatGPT” is regulated at IIRPS VU? After two presentations, there will be enough time for your questions and comments.
Speakers:
Assoc. prof. dr. Linas Petkevičius, Head of the Department of Software Engineering, Institute of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at VU.
Assoc. prof. dr. Lina Strupinskienė, Deputy director for studies at IIRPS VU
