Lecture by Luc Cassivi “Diversity in Operations – Why National Armed Forces must embrace diversity and why it is a force multiplier”

IIRPS VU, together with the Canadian Embassy in Lithuania, invites you to an open lecture “Diversity in Operations – Why National Armed Forces must embrace diversity and why it is a force multiplier” by Luc Cassivi, Canadian rear-admiral and the Commander of Canadian Defense College. The lecture will be held on March 18th, 4:45 p.m., room 402. The lecture will discuss issues of women, peace and security agenda and gender analysis in military planning.

Luc Cassivi served as Deputy Commander Canadian Fleet Pacific, Director Canadian Submarine Force, Chief of Staff Plans and Operations for Maritime Forces Pacific and Joint Task Force Pacific, Commanding Officer Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt, and Director General Naval Strategic Readiness at National Defence Headquarters. In May 2017, he was promoted to Rear-Admiral and designated as the Commander, Military Personnel Generation and Canadian Defence Academy.
