In 2025, completed doctoral studies in management at the KTU Faculty of Economics and Business and prepared a dissertation analyzing the factors determining participation in gamification and the links between gamification and the motivation of Agile teams. In 2017, obtained a master’s degree in human resource management from the same university, and in 2009, completed bachelor’s degree in business administration and management at Vilnius University.
Dovilė Valantiejienė is a lecturer teaching teamwork and gamification modules to students of various fields of study. She is a participant in scientific articles and international scientific conferences, as well as an author and co-author of publications on the application of gamification in human resource management and other areas, self-organised teams and collective motivation. She is also a certified (ACC) coaching professional (according to the ICF program). Mentor on the mentoring platform “Idialogue”. She is also a member of the Lithuanian Society of Young Researchers, the International Coaching Federation community, and an active member of the System Change Facilitator Network.
She gained professional experience in the financial sector while working as a customer service department manager for several clients, where she was responsible for ensuring the performance and results of the departments, the quality of the loan portfolio, team building, employee selection, employee training processes, and the organization and coordination of student internship programs. She also worked in the public sector, managing an administrative department. She later continued her professional career in the field of digital solutions for employee training as a gamification researcher and product analyst, where she worked on the development of a mobile learning app, conducted user research, and analyzed learning experiences and user behavior.
In her academic and professional activities, she combines gamification, teamwork, self-organised teams, team motivation, systemic facilitation and coaching practices.
