Politics Without Values

Description:

We are used to the notion that if there is politics, there should also be independent political values. However, the paradox is that politics does not have its own values. There is no decision based on purely political values. When we discus political things we inevitably argue about non-political matters. Values only become political because they are brought into the arena of political discussions. In terms of their origins, they are always non-political.

This book introduces its readers to the purposes of political philosophy and the possibilities of its application.
