Lecture by Linnaeus University Professor Dagmar Brunow “Feminist and Queer Politics of Media Archiving”

Dagmar Brunow is an Associate Professor at Linnaeus University in Sweden. She has published widely on questions of cultural memory, media archives, digitization as well as feminist and queer historiography. She is the author of REMEDIATING TRANSCULTURAL MEMORY (Berlin/Boston: de Gruyter 2015), and has recently completed the three-year research project “The Cultural Heritage of the Moving Image”, financed by the Swedish Research Council (2015-18). Her anthology QUEER CINEMA (co-edited with Simon Dickel, Ventil Verlag, Mainz) was published in 2018.
