Giedrė is a graduate of IIRPS BA in Political Science and MA in Comparative Studies. While in Erasmus in 2003 she studied in Copenhagen University African Studies Centre. As a result defended the first BA theses in the Institute‘s history on Subsacharan Africa.
From 2016 Giedre teaches Raising Regions of the World Course and mentors the students in Adaptive Leadership Course.

In 2006 – 2008 Giedre coordinated European Union policies and bilateral foreign affairs of Lithuania in the Lithuanian governmental institutions – The Office of The Prime Minister and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In 2009 -2013 she worked in the US non-governmental organisation „International Republican Institute“, where she managed democratisation and political education projects.
In 2013 – 2016 Giedre managed development cooperation advocacy and developmental education projects in Lithuanian non governmental organisations.
2014 – 2017 she was in charge of IIRPS public relations and communications.
Currently she is managing a strategic Alumni relations project in central administration of Vilnius University.
