Every parliamentary election is a significant political event, revealing political and societal changes and charting new directions for the development of the country. The results of the Seimas elections have also brought about changes in the composition of the Parliament and the Government. The 2020 Seimas elections took place in a unique context: citizens chose the politicians who will govern the country for the next four years in the context of significant national and international transformations brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
What new trends in public political preferences will the 2020 Seimas elections reveal? How are the political discourse and communication strategies of Lithuanian parties changing?
