Ramūnas Vilpišauskas

VU TSPMI direktorius (nuo 2009 m.), profesorius, socialinių mokslų daktaras. Baigęs Vilniaus universitetą ir Lancaster‘io universitetą (Jungtinė Karalystė). VU TSPMI dirba nuo 1996-tųjų metų. Be dabar dėstomų kursų anksčiau institute yra skaitęs tarptautinės ekonomikos, politikos analizės, Europos ekonomikos, viešojo pasirinkimo dalykus. Atliko mokslinius tyrimus su Fulbright stipendija Columbia Universitete (JAV), Europos Universiteto Institute (Italija), Syracuse Universitete (JAV), Carleton Universitete (Kanada). Taip pat dėstė JAV bei Kanados universitetuose. 2004-2009 m. dirbo Lietuvos Respublikos Prezidento patarėju, Ekonominės ir socialinės politikos grupės vadovu.
2003-2004 m. Lietuvos politologų asociacijos prezidentas, 2002-2004 m. Atviros Lietuvos fondo valdybos narys, 1997-2004 m. Lietuvos laisvosios rinkos instituto ekspertas. Europos Sąjungos studijų asociacijos (JAV) ir Šiuolaikinių Europos studijų universitetų asociacijos (Didžioji Britanija) narys. Keletą metų iki 2004 m. buvo Europos Komiteto prie LRV konsultantas. Konsultavo Gruzijos, Bosnijos ir Hercegovinos, Azerbaidžano bei Moldovos vyriausybes bei kitas institucijas integracijos į Europos Sąjungą ir vidaus reformų klausimais. Lietuvos Pažangos tarybos, Saulėlydžio komisijos, Aukštojo mokslo tarybos narys.
