Péter Szijjártó: Public Lecture "The Visegrad Group and regional cohesion of values and interests within the framework of the EU" - 2017 03 09
Public lecture by Péter Szijjártó, Hungarian minister for foreign affairs and trade, took place on the 9th of March, 2017. The event and Q&A session was moderated by assoc.prof. Inga Vinogradnaitė.
In his speech, titled “The Visegrad Group: regional cohesion of values and interests within the framework of the European Union“, the minister focused on challenges facing Hungary and the European Union. He also reviewed Hungarian economic result since 2010 and talked about the EU's sanctions on Russia. He also expressed hope for tighter cooperation between Visegrad Group and the Baltic countries.
This meeting with the minister was organised by IIRPS VU and the Embassy of Hungary in Vilnius.
