Andreas Umland lecture "Ukraine at the Crossroads: Europeanism, Eurasianism and Ethnocentrism Under President Yanukovych"

Andreas Umland is is a specialist for contemporary Russian and Ukrainian history. He is a Member of the Institute for Central and East European Studies (ZIMOS) at the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt in Upper Bavaria, a minuscule, yet active research center. He teaches at the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", a small, but prolific Ukrainian elite college.  His studies of Russian and Ukrainian politics are focussing on the post-Soviet extreme right. 

During his lecture at the IIRPS VU, A. Umland will discuss issues about EU, "Svoboda" and the Eurasian Union.

Do not hesitate and come to the lecture of this prominent academic! The event will take place on 16 April (Tuesday) from 16:45 at Room 303 (during Jovita Neliupšienė lecture Belarus and Ukraine Studies).
