Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University (IIRPS VU) together with Anuar Ayazbekov, the Director of the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, invites to the public lecture on the topic “Geopolitics of Central Asia and Kazakhstan Multivector Foreign Policy”. The event will take place on Wednesday, 18 of April at 1:15 p.m. in room 402.

Dr. Ayazbekov holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of St.Andrews. His professional interests include Central Asian politics, foreign policy analysis, and diplomatic education. Prior to joining the Institute of Diplomacy, Dr. Ayazbekov held positions at Nazarbayev University, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan, and the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies. He also was a visiting research fellow at the John Hopkins University Central Asia-Caucasus Institute and the Japan Institute for International Affairs.
